Batteries come in a range of sizes from large car batteries to small batteries which power calculators, phones, cameras etc. These can include components such as lead acid, nickel cadmium (NiCD), nickel metal hydride, alkaline manganese, mercury, zinc, carbon,
lithium, lithium ion and silver oxide.
These must be segregated for special collection and in the main can be recycled.
